Fossil remains of koala-like animals have been found dating back to 25-40 million years ago.
Koalas like all Australian animals are an important part of aboriginal culture and featured in many legends.
Koalas are often called as "koala bears" - this is not correct. Koala is not a bear but a marsupial. The closest relative of the koala is the wombat which also has a cute and cuddly appearance but it is never called a "wombat bear"
I wanted to share this with another language - i tried to do the best i could - however! it is a bit messy - however it can still be seen, read and heard. Whether or not the you-tube is active i am not sure until i post. i love it - so i am sharing it. and no i am not going to submit in 2 languages - it is one submission with two languages.
